Avocado Smoothie Breakfast Bowl

I've been adding a little fat back into my diet after playing around with my macros this summer, so avocado was an obvious choice. I made this smoothie bowl to have something cool, creamy and easy for breakfast. It's rich in healthy fats and greens, and I added some Greek yogurt to boost the protein. 

 

Ingredients:

  • Avocado, 1/2 one fruit
  • Banana, 1 
  • Spinach, 1/2 cup (packed)
  • Greek yogurt, 1 cup
  • Optional: Chia seeds, coconut flakes, cinnamon or fresh mint for garnish

Recipe makes 1 bowl

  1. Freeze 1/2 avocado for about 4 hours or overnight

  2. When frozen, add avocado, banana, spinach, Greek yogurt to blender.

  3. Blend, add your toppings and eat!
