I became interested in health and exercise during college and decided to major in Nutrition Science. I took up running and even finished the Chicago Marathon in 2012. It was also totally painful. Ha! I've since gravitated towards powerlifting and goofing around in the gym.
I've worked in food communications and PR, served as a nutrition coach for the U.S. Rugby Women's National Team and as a consultant for a Major League Baseball team. For my day job, I'm a Research Dietitian at the University of Delaware. plan and prepare menus for controlled feeding studies, and I love it! One of my goals for Ubuntu Fitness is to make sure we provide ideas that are healthful, absolutely delicious and experimental!
